Winstar Slot Machine Tips
GeneralI made another trip out to Winstar Casino last night with a couple friends and we all lost pretty good. I really feel bad for people who empty their bank accounts and go to a casino expecting to win money. Every time I've been to an indian casino (wait, that's all I've been to since I was of legal age to gamble) I have never taken more than $40.
Why?
Winstar has some of the lowest payouts you can imagine. This is an indian casino in Oklahoma, these are not casinos that are on the strip that need to compete for your business. Your only alternative to Winstar is the gas station next door (ya they have slots, as do almost every gas station off I35). So, them paying out as low as they legally can isn't going to cause them to loose your business.
Also, because, if you didn't fail first grade math, no slot machine has a long term payout of over 100%. The best payout you can find is 98% (the machine will pay out 98 cents for every dollar put it in, in the longterm)... So, if you think a slot machine is an ATM, your going to find out over the long term that it really is not, and luck is just a figment of your imagination.
Never go to a casino expecting to win anything (especially win star). If you go expecting to win, then your going to leave crying. The first time I went to winstar (I've only been to casinos 5-6 times), I saw a lady in the Highwire Act (high rollers room) sitting in the fetal position in front of a $25 slot machine crying like she just lost a kid.
Winstar Casino slot machine tips? Don't play them. Play blackjack. Or go to Shreveport, or Vegas. Winstar sucks. If your not a males under 25 with nothing better to do and a bankroll of under 30 bucks, then stay away from winstar. Wait until you can go somewhere worth while.
Oh, and it's called a random number generator. I love listening to people say "oh it's about to hit" or "it's already taken a lot of my money, it's going to give me some back"... No, it has no emotion. It is a slot machine. You could win 100 spins in a row on a slot machine, because, of this amazing thing called a random number generator. I prefer to call random number generators in slot machines random loosing number generators.
Anyways, Bryce and I had really good luck on the 25 cent and $1 slots. I think the most I probably ever hit was $30, but that's a lot more fun than just playing penny slots all night and hitting $2 jackpots. My friend Chris played penny slots all night and didn't blow all of his cash, but I think he managed to push $40 through the penny slots over 2 hours, while we were able to play for about 2 hours with $25 in the quarter and dollar slots due to better payouts.
So ya, penny slots are a waste of time. And for those who again failed math, when you play a multi-line machine, every extra line your play actually increases the odds against you. If you don't believe me, please go learn basic math.
