If your still wondering where to get a nintendo wii, you need to check your local walmarts every mourning, early in the mourning. I had a an appointment with my doctor early this mourning and decided to go by walmart as someone told me they would have a playstation 3 in stock. Well, I went to the back and saw a PS3 and 2 Wii's. I don't know how the walmart had a playstation 3 in stock, but there were 2 Nintendo Wii 's in stock. So my advice is check all your local electronic retailers early in the mourning when everyone else is headed to work and kids are in school.

I have been told the S-Video cable for the Japanese version of the Wii will work with the American version.

I'm still kicking myself in the ass for not having the cash to grab the Wii when I was there. By the time I got back from my doctors appointment and was able to run by the bank, the Wii's and the Playstation 3 were all gone. It's amazing the PS3's are still selling for so much when you can find some stragglers on retailers shelfs.
