Operation Letters To Santa
GeneralBroke 19 year old college students like myself are rarely ever the ones who go out and make donations... anywhere.. We don't have the need to use charity donations as tax breaks, and paying rent, eating, keeping gas in the car, and having some money for entertainment is hard enough. Ask the bell ringers out front of walmart how often a 16-25 year old male throws a dollar in the bucket and they'll probably say never.
I know there are most definetly exceptions to this, but as a whole my age group is rather shiesty. Not that we are actually shiesty, we just have to be frugile because, well, the case of pabst blue ribbon and the $140 bucks at the strip club last weekend has put us in debt.
Anyways, I'll get to the point. I actually made a small donation to Operation Letters To Santa (http://operationlettertosanta.com/). I probably could have had them send me one of the letters earlier this month and bought a kid a toy myself, but like I said.. a brothas gotta eat.
I could have donated to a lot of more important causes, but I don't care. I can do that later in life. Instantspot.com is definetly on the list for my next donation. After that I suspect my next donation wont be for awhile as insurance, rent +, and other bills are going to kill me next month.
