netnoob admits playstation 3 fire was a hoax
netnoob has admitted that the playstation 3 fire (which can be seen here: http://netnoob.instantspot.com/blog/) was a hoax. The blog post where he admitted that it was a hoax was posted to digg and made it to the frontpage in about an hour of being posted. I personally knew this was a hoax but didn't want to ruin it for him. Anyways, if anyone has heard about playstation 3's catching fire, I'm here to tell you that plystation 3's pose NO FIRE RISK.
Netnoob was in the process of aquiring a playstation 3 to set on fire when he was contacted by sony and threatened with legal action. Netnoob's plan was to get some convincing pictures and get loads and loads of traffic from people coming to look at the pictures which would spread like wildfire. He also considered possibly making a post about how "sony had sent him a brand new playstation 3
" to replace the one destroyed in the blaze. The pictures of the new playstation 3 would be of the one he purchased to set on fire.
Just to clear this up a little more, NETNOOB NEVER OWNED A PLAYSTATION 3, OR A HOUSE. lol
