Instant Spot just became the shiznit

General

So I logged in and saw the Style Manager today. For those who aren't from Instant Spot, the Style Manager give you full control over the look and feel of your spot. Anyways, the access to the CSS is just awesome. Mad props to Dave and Aaron, and anyone else who helped with this.

One thing to look into on spot is how the top text on the site appears at high screen resolution. The text is clipped in parts and looks stacked.

Another thing... it would be cool, like i said in the forum, if one day the people in "your friends" were more like your "blogroll" or "subscriptions" and when you logged into your control panel you would see their latest blog titles so you would know when they have blogged. Kinda like Spots own feeds, it would encourage cross commenting between users and create more of a community. Also, the text could be made to look like the google ads below it, effectively blending the ads, and making more clicks for you guys ;-)

Oh, I also recruited a new blogger (netnoob.instantspot.com).. He has set everything up this far, by himself.. and I can attest to the fact the he really is a net noob. I will be editing his layout for him tomorrow, but he has gotten this far on his own. That is impressive, considering last night there were a lot of people over and he was visiting entensity.net, and a pop-up came up with a voice telling him he had won a laptop. We were ALMOST able to convince him that he had, in fact, won a laptop. +1 for usability.

I have another guy who has been begging me to make him a blog for a couple months now, but he is a guy who represents the 70's and would be blogging about his experiences with 70's stuff and just philosophical ramblings. I'm not sure if this is allowed, so I haven't told him about the spot yet.

long blog I know
